Hi ! I’m Angèle Suarez, a French background artist working in the animation industry. Since graduating from L’Atelier in 2018, I have worked on various animated series and projects.
Most recently, I worked as a background color artist on Dungeons & Kittens for Watch Next Media.
I have also worked as background designer on Living with Dad (Ellipse Animation), Toc Toc! (2 Minutes Animation), and most recently on background color development on the Danny Dreadson teaser (Watch Next Media).
Throughout my career, I have alternated between remote and on-site work, developing strong autonomy while maintaining effective communication with production teams. Through these experiences, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with several studios in Paris, Lille, and Angoulême.
Since 2025, I have also been a regular instructor at an animation school, where I share my passion for bringing backgrounds to life through light and color.
